Al Arendsen:  Please be in prayer for Al as he was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer.  We pray for wisdom and clarity as he & Sue discern treatment options.

 

Mary Berens:  Please keep Mary’s son-in-law, Brian, in your prayers as he was recently diagnosed with cancer.  We pray that treatment options will be available and would provide relief.

 

Jennifer Fortosis:  Please be in prayer for Jennifer as she has been experiencing chronic pain.  She will be having some scans in early February in an effort to determine the cause.  We pray that these scans will provide answers and that relief will be found.

 

Marian Kuipers:  Please remember Marian in your prayers as she was hospitalized late last week because of a stroke.  We pray that her side effects would diminish.

 

Kristin Sterk:  Please keep Kristin in your prayers as she will be going in for another heart ablation on February 9.  We pray that this surgery will relieve her symptoms.

Rev. Jeong & Misook Gho work for Resonate Global Ministries in Japan.  Rev. Gho and his wife are Korean born teachers and are conducting church school teacher training programs at various churches in Japan.

COLLEGE STUDENT

Levi VanAst (son of Renae & Mike) is a Sophomore at Calvin University.  His major is Kinesiology and Spanish.  He is currently taking a Psychology class about health care, Calculus, Spanish History and Culture in America, Organic Chem Lab, and Oral Rhetoric.  Levi is employed with LIFE EMS as an EMT doing the wheelchair mobility transport.  Levi is also on the Calvin Swim team.  In his spare time, Levi loves to mountain bike and hammock when the weather is good.  He also enjoys cooking and trying new food ideas in the kitchen.  His email address is levivanast@gmail.com.  Levi celebrated his 21st Birthday on December 29!  Happy Birthday Levi!  We pray that God will continue to bless and guide you as you work towards your college degree!
