Mitch Arendsen: We are thankful that Mitch has been released from quarantine and is feeling better after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Vern Boersen: We give thanks to the Lord that Vern had a successful knee surgery to repair a tear that he had experienced. We are thankful that relief and mobility are already being experienced.
Chuck & Lynn Johnson: We are thankful that Chuck was able to have a successful placement of a permanent stent in his liver. We pray for his health as he and Lynn embrace the reality of his liver ducts cancer.
Dale & Helaine Miedema: Please keep Dale & Helaine’s son-in-law Brian, in your prayers as he has been diagnosed with cancer and is already receiving chemotherapy. We pray for the results of future scans that will show more specifics and clarity for future treatments.
Judy Redder: Please remember Judy in your prayers as she will be having a complete knee replacement surgery this week Tuesday, October 27. We pray that her surgery goes well.
Vern & Shirley VanKlompenberg: Please keep Vern & Shirley in your prayers as Shirley has been diagnosed with COVID-19, and it is suspected that Vern also has it. We are thankful that Shirley’s symptoms have been mild and we pray that they both will be able to make a full recovery.
Gert VanSomeren: Please be in prayer for Gert as she is at Heritage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Zeeland receiving care after having surgery on a broken hip. We pray she is able to gain strength and mobility.
Todd VandenHeuvel: Please keep Todd in your prayers as recent scans have shown deterioration of the bone as well as slow growth. We pray for him as he is now off of his feet. We pray the Lord will allow there to be healing.

Right to Life of Holland will be hosting a Prayer Service for the Elections on Monday, November 2, from 7:00-7:45 PM at Central Avenue CRC (259 Central Avenue, Holland).
Parkview AFC Home is a Christian, adult foster care home in Zeeland that provides health, safety, and quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities. Borculo Christian School is planning a Fall Pig Roast and Mini Auction November 2-7 – FUN-filled and COVID friendly!
Pig Roast ‘Pick-Up’ Dinner: place orders for Pulled Pork Meals (pork, baked beans, chips, applesauce, roll and ice cream treat) for a donation of $10.00 OR 3 lbs. bags of Pulled Pork for a donation of $25.00. Orders can be placed on the BCS website or by calling the school (875.8152). Orders must be placed by Friday, October 30. Come to pick-up your order on Saturday, November 7 between 4 and 6 PM. Pay at pick-up; check or cash only, please.
Facebook Mini Auction will be happening Nov. 2-6 on the BCS Facebook page! Anyone with a Facebook account can participate by placing your bid in the ‘Comments’ section under each item’s picture starting Mon., Nov. 2 through Fri., Nov. 6. Bidding will close Fri., Nov. 6 at 8 PM. Winners will be notified and can pay for and pick-up their items on Sat. Nov. 7, between 2 and 7PM.

Pastor Shaun & Amanda are grateful they were able to welcome Levi Michael into the world early Wednesday morning, October 14. Levi came into the world weighing 8.3 lbs., and was 21 inches long. We are thankful that Mom and Levi are doing well.
Tyce & Kristen VanKoevering: We give thanks to the Lord for the wedding of Tyce & Kristen (Mulder) that took place at North Street on Friday, October 23. We pray the Lord’s blessing as they start their life together as one.

The Men’s Bible Study will continue their study of ‘The Last Days According to Jesus’ by R.C. Sproul, on Thursday, October 22, at 6:30 AM. We will be studying Lesson #7.
Children’s Worship will begin on Sunday, November 1, during the Evening Worship Service, for children ages 3-Kingergarten.
Helpers Needed: If you are 6th grade and older (yes, adults, too!), we’d love to have you join us in Children’s Worship. Look for the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
The 6th grade Cadets will be raking leaves at Jerry & Judy Redder’s home on Wednesday, November 4, at 6:30 PM for a badge. This is a night that Cadets does not have a regular meeting, so we will meet at Jerry & Judy’s home (NOT at Church).
The Outreach Committee is once again collecting Christmas shoeboxes for boys and girls around the globe through Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child program. Shoeboxes can be picked up in the Narthex. The goal for North Street is 100 boxes! If you would like to make a monetary donation to fill a box or to help with shipping costs, place donations in Jim Jr./Dana Staat’s church mailbox. Shoeboxes must be turned in to the grocery cart at church by Sunday, November 15. Note: please unwrap and discard any packaging on your shoebox items to make more room in your shoebox!
