Betty Kroll:  We give thanks that Betty continues to make progress in her recovery after surgery.  Please keep her in your prayers as she will be visiting the radiologist this week to determine radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Cheryl Kroll:  We give thanks to the Lord that Cheryl continues to receive her chemotherapy treatments every other week.  We are thankful that her side effects are manageable.  We pray that this treatment will prove effective.

Del & Winnie Machiela:  Please be in prayer for Del & Winnie as Winnie continues to experience chronic back pain and as Del continues in his chemotherapy treatments.  We give thanks that recent scans have shown that Del’s kidney and liver function is good despite his treatments.

Helaine Miedema:  We give thanks to the Lord that Helaine continues to make progress after her hip replacement surgery.  She reports that she has had no pain and that her physical therapy regimen has gone well for her.

Earl Mokma:  Please keep Earl in your prayers as he has been scheduled for his bi-pass surgery on Wednesday, May 20.  In the days leading up to his surgery, Earl will undergo further tests.  We pray that this testing, as well as his surgery, goes well and leads to him being well.

Melissa Vincent:  We give thanks to the Lord, that after a scan, to examine an area of concern that was thought to be potentially cancerous, and further tests, Melissa received the news that it was not cancerous.

North Street Leadership:  Though we have not been able to meet regularly as a church family for worship, the leadership of our Church has been continuing to meet through ZOOM video meetings.  Our Council, Elders, Deacons, and Executive committees have continued to care for our Church.  Additionally, they have been making plans for when we can come together once again for corporate worship.  They have sought the guidance from state and local officials as well as been in consultation with other churches in our area.  When the decision is made to open up again, they will be sending a letter outlining the new precautions, protocols, and expectations to ensure that worship is safe.  Until then, we covet your prayers for wisdom and patience.

Elders & Deacons Contacts:  The Elders and Deacons will be checking in on every family in our church each week not only to see how they are doing health wise, but also want to see if they need any assistance with picking up groceries or prescriptions, especially for those who are considered high-risk and immune compromised.  But we also want to check on folks to see how they are doing when it comes to potential benevolent issues.  We understand that many in this time are experiencing difficulties because of lay-offs and cut hours.  We want to ensure that we are doing all that we can to care for the church family in this time.  We also want to pray with you and for you, and so if you have any prayer concerns, please let us know.  Worship material, including on-line sermon and bulletin, will be available on our website each week.  If you would like a DVD or CD and bulletin sent to you, please contact our church office (772.6971) and we will mail them to you every Monday.
