Cheryl Kroll:  Please keep Cheryl in your prayers as she will have a consultation with her doctor next week to discuss her breast cancer diagnosis.  We pray for wisdom and clarity when it comes to decisions and good weather so Cheryl does not have challenges getting to her appointment.

Henry Meppelink:  Please keep Henry in your prayers as he continues in his recovery after his surgery to replace the leaking aortic abdominal aneurism stent.  We are thankful for the progress he has made and pray that he is able to make a full recovery.

Josh & Chelsea VandenBosch:  Please keep Chelsea’s dad, Doug, in your prayers as he will be having a bone marrow biopsy on Thursday to determine the effectiveness of the chemo.  We give thanks that he has not had any side effects from his treatments.  We are praying there is improvement noted in the biopsy results so that he can continue receiving chemo.

Jennie VanderWoude:  We give thanks to the Lord that Jennie has been discharged from the hospital after receiving antibiotics for pneumonia.  She has been transferred to Freedom Village for a time of continued recovery.  Jennie is in room #2120 and her phone number there is 616.848.7285.

‘Cards For Christ’:  Ladies – on the last Thursday of every month, there will be an opportunity for you to gather in fellowship at a designated host home.  During this time of intentional, multi-generational fellowship, we will be able to share our time together with conversation and laughter, and also share our gifts of encouragement to others in the church family through the making of handwritten cards.  Let’s show others the love of Christ through our time and words expressed through this lost art!  Writing cards not your thing?  No problem, come and fellowship anyways!  Looking forward to seeing you at our first ‘Cards For Christ’ event at the home of Sue Arendsen (10353 Felch Street) on Thursday, January 30, from 7:00-8:30 PM.  Please RSVP to Amanda Furniss if you plan to attend!
