Lori Dekker:  We give thanks to the Lord that Lori had a successful tissue transfer surgery to correct the atrophy condition she experienced.  We pray that her recovery may go well.

 

Sharon DuBois:  Please remember Sharon in your prayers as she continues with her chemotherapy treatments.  We are thankful that she has tolerated them well and pray that they will prove to be effective.

 

Helaine Miedema:  Please continue to pray for Helaine as she receives her chemotherapy treatments.  We pray that she may tolerate them well.

 

Tim & Amy Schutt:  Please keep Amy’s mom, Joan, in your prayers as she began her chemotherapy treatments this past week.  We pray she responds well to these treatments.

Farewell for Pastor Shaun and his family will take place on Sunday, November 28.  During the morning service, Pastor Shaun will preach his farewell sermon.  Our evening service will be led by Rev. Jeremy Visser.  Pastor Shaun and his family will attend our evening service.  Following the evening service, we will have a farewell meal for the Furniss family, provided by the fellowship committee.

 

The Thanksgiving Day Offering Envelopes have been placed in your mailbox.  There are additional envelopes at the Sign-up Station.  Listed on these envelopes are several groups/agencies that the Deacons have selected.  These envelopes can be placed in the offering plates on Sunday, November 14, Sunday, November 21, or Thanksgiving Day.  All loose and undesignated money received, written in groups/agencies, and any envelopes received after Thanksgiving Day, will go to Parkview Home.

 

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child program ends today.  Please turn in your Shoeboxes to the office or leave them on the table in the Narthex.

 

The 20th Annual CAP Auction will be held this Friday, November 19, in ‘The Grove’.  A light supper of BBQ will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by the live Auction at 7:00 PM  Auction Items may be brought to church anytime prior to the Auction.  We anticipate another evening of fun and fellowship, as we raise funds for our K-12 children in Christian Education.


North Street Seniors – Advance Notice:  Reserve Thursday, December 2, for a Pizza lunch beginning at noon, in ‘The Grove’ at church.  This will be our last meeting for the winter months.
