The Bridge Ministries of Zeeland provides a safe environment for the youth in the Zeeland area to spend leisure time. Volunteers and staff are there to provide counseling and mentoring. For more information, check out the website www.bymczeeland.org.
‘Just Thinking’ Event Parking: A sign-up sheet is located at the Information Station at the bottom of the East Stairwell if you’d like to sign up for this Event. If you are attending the ‘Just Thinking West Michigan’ event this upcoming Friday and Saturday, (Nov. 5 & 6), we are asking you (if you are able) to park in secondary parking areas, so that attendees who are not members of our church, can utilize our parking lot.
North Street Seniors will have their monthly breakfast at Russ’ Eastown (361 E. 8th Street, Holland), on Thursday, November 11 at 8:30 AM. We will have our own area that morning. Please put your name down on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex. We need to know the number of Seniors who plan on coming for breakfast that morning. Thanks! Come and join us for a time of fellowship!
The Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child program is currently in full swing. We still have a few more boxes available to pick up. Shoeboxes must be turned in to the office or left on the table in the narthex, by Sunday, November 14. Please turn them in as early as possible, so we can make sure we reach our goal of 100 boxes! There is still time to donate. If you would like to make a monetary donation to fill a box or to help with shipping costs, place donations in Jim Jr./Dana Staat's church mailbox. Note: please unwrap and discard any packaging on your shoebox items to make more room in your shoebox! For gift suggestions and/or more information, see Dana Staat (email@example.com) or visit samaritanspurse.org/occ. For those who may not want to get out and shop on their own, you can build a shoebox online at: https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/ These boxes are packed especially for delivery in hard-to-reach countries.
