Terry & Linda Boerman:  We give thanks to the Lord that Terry received an encouraging report from recent scans and was able to receive another round of treatment.

 

Chuck & Lynn Johnson:  Please remember Chuck in your prayers as he remains under Hospice care.  We pray for the Lord’s continuing care and peace for the Johnson family.

 

Tim & Amy Schutt:  Please pray for Amy’s parents as her mom, Joan, is not only battling cancer, but was recently hospitalized due to dehydration.  Please pray for her father who has health complications as well.  We pray for healing in this time.

 

Luke Worley (8 year old son of Dee Worley):  Please be in prayer for Luke as he will be going in on Friday, October 29, for bilateral hip surgery.  We pray that everything goes well with the surgery and that his lengthy recovery time will prove to provide prolonged relief.

FOCUS ON MISSIONS

Mission India is an agency that trains and equips local Indian Christians in the country of India to teach The Bible and form clusters of new disciples.  They do this through organizing Children’s Bible clubs, adult literacy classes, and church planter training.  For more information check the website www.missionindia.org.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month.  The Congregation is encouraged to show their appreciation for Pastor Shaun & Amanda, and their family as they serve the Lord by serving us.  Cards, notes, and words of appreciation are encouraged at all times, but especially during this month.

 

Jubilee Centers International, a Mission we support, wants to invite you to a virtual event on October 26, 2021, at 8:00 PM.  It is titled ‘Strong and Courageous’. ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Outreach Committee is collecting Christmas Shoeboxes for boys and girls around the globe through the Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child program.  Shoeboxes can be picked up in the Narthex.  The goal for North Street is 100 boxes!  Shoeboxes must be turned in, at church, by Sunday, November 14.  For gift suggestions and more information, see Dana Staat, or visit samaritanspurse.org/occ.

 

 

 

LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Bridge Youth Center has a number of volunteer opportunities available.  They are in need of people to provide food for the students they serveMeal suggestions and other ideas for volunteering are located at the Sign-up Station in the Narthex.  You can also learn more at www.bymczeeland.org or call 772.3843.

 

Borculo Christian School would like to invite all the widows, widowers, grandparents, and retired people of the community to our school Chapel on Wednesday, October 27 at 8:40 AM.  The students are working hard to make this Chapel special for you.  Please come and join with us as we celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout all generations!  We will serve coffee and cookies after Chapel.  If you don’t have grandkids at the school, we would still love to show you what BCS is all about!
