Joel & Linda Beezhold and family would like to say “Thank you for your prayers and thoughtful cards we received after the passing away of our mom and grandma. Your caring is much appreciated.”

The Church Nursery will no longer be staffed because of the rising COVID-19 numbers. It will be open for parents to use as a cry room if needed. Please sanitize any toys that have been used if you use the room.
North Street’s Annual CAP Auction is being rescheduled to a tentative Feb/March time frame. All items that have been donated are being stored. Please remember the CAP Fund in your Thanksgiving/year end giving as this is a big fund-raising loss for our families.
Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child: TODAY is the last day to bring in your filled Shoeboxes. Please turn them in, so we can reach our goal of 100 boxes! There is still time to donate, if you would like to make a monetary donation to fill a box or help with shipping costs; place donations in Jim Jr./Dana Staat’s church mailbox. Note: please unwrap and discard any packaging on your shoebox items to make more room in your shoebox! For gift suggestions and/or more information see Dana Staat (firstname.lastname@example.org) or visit www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.
Piano/Music Students: Instead of our typical Christmas program prelude presentation, the Worship Committee would like to put together a video recording of students playing their Christmas songs. The recording would then be used for a prelude. This process will allow for proper distancing and sanitizing. Please email Sue Arendsen (email@example.com) or call (616.886.9918) if you are interested and for further details by November 16.

From The Executive Committee: We have seen a rise in COVID-19 Virus activity in our Community lately. This has had a direct impact on some of our members. We are happy to report that no known exposures have happened in our church building. The Executive committee has decided to adjust our church activities to minimize potential exposures:
1. All church educational activities will be suspended until January 2021. This includes Men’s Bible Study, Dorcas, Sunday School, Cadets, GEMS, and Youth Group.
2. Sunday, November 15, we will have a morning service only with Rev. Allen Petroelje filling our pulpit
3. Sunday, November 22 we will resume services in the morning and evening.
4. Thanksgiving service on Thursday, November 26 will be held as planned
The congregation is asked to remember the Executive Committee and the Council in prayer as they seek to guide the congregation through this season.
From The Deacons: North Street has again been given a generous donation of over-the-counter medicine – including children’s items, dental items, pain relievers, and more. Items will be available at the kitchen serving window following the worship services. Adults may come and help yourself to a few items. If you have any questions, please contact a Deacon.
The Thanksgiving Day offering envelopes have been placed in your mailbox. There are additional envelopes at the Sign-Up Station. These envelopes can be placed in the offering basket on Sunday-November 15, Sunday-November 22 or Thanksgiving Day. There are several groups/agencies to choose from. All loose and undesignated money received will go to the Outreach Fund. The deacons discourage you from writing in additional causes. If a group/agency is written in, that amount will be given to the Outreach Fund. Any envelopes received after Thanksgiving Day will go to the Outreach Fund.
