Terry Boerman:  We are thankful that Terry’s first round of treatment was tolerated well.  We pray that this may continue and that they would prove to be effective in addressing his lung cancer.

Shirley Nagelkirk:  Please remember Shirley in your prayers as she experienced a fall that resulted in 3 broken vertebrates.  After being hospitalized, she is now receiving additional care at Heritage Rehabilitation Center in Zeeland (Room #9).  We pray that she may gain strength that would allow her to come home soon.

Jim Staat Sr.:  Please continue to keep Jim’s brother, Nick, in your prayers as he experienced another setback this past week in his recovery after his heart stopped.  We are thankful that they were able to revive him and that he is once again stable.  We pray that he would continue to make progress in his healing.

Scott & Laura Visser and family are “thankful for all the prayer support, cards, and other expressions of love shown to us during the illness and passing of our brother-in-law, Phil Kuhtic.  We were blessed with comfort and peace from God through your efforts.”

Thank You from Marlin & Von Vis:

Dear North Street Family:

How do we begin to Thank You?  The past 3 years have been long and often very difficult – physically, mentally, and emotionally - this past year extremely so.  If it had not been for your visits, calls, cards, and prayers, and the faithfulness of our Savior, I don’t think we would have been able to cope.

Marlin is doing so well at Grace of Douglas.  We both feel that this is where the Lord has wanted us all along.  It was a long, twisted, up & down road to get here, but we made it!  He has led us beside ‘still waters’ for right now and it feels good!

While I was going through the surgery on my eye, the visits from the Elders to Marlin allowed me peace of mind knowing he was being visited and not feeling alone or forgotten.  He so very much enjoyed each visit!

All of your visits, cards, calls, and prayers have been so appreciated.  As I continue to heal – I rely on the healing hand of the ‘Great Healer’ who ultimately knows my outcome.

So THANK YOU – one & all – But Most of All – ALL PRAISE to the ALMIGHTY GOD AND FATHER of us all – AMEN!”

Love in Christ, Marlin & Von Vis
