Her visitation and funeral service were held on Friday, September 18. We pray for the Lord’s comfort and peace in this time of grief and sorrow.
Winnie Machiela would like to say “Thank You for all the cards, calls, and prayers I received on my recent Birthday. It was very much appreciated!”
Trevor Miedema (9 year old son of Mitch & Sarah): Please keep Trevor and his parents in your prayers as they await the results of tests to see if Trevor’s brain tumor continues to remain in remission. We pray that they receive encouraging news at their upcoming appointment on Thursday, September 24.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Song Services: The Worship Committee is planning for our monthly song services for the remainder of the year. The Committee would like to have requests from the congregation, but without the hymnals in the pews, we need your input ahead of time to be able to project the chosen songs. There is a box at the ‘Welcome Center’ to submit your song request. Please write your name and song title on the paper provided and put the paper in the box. We look forward to hearing from you and singing praise to God together again for our monthly song service.
The Cadets’ Pizza Coupon Sale is cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
MidLife Group: Please save the date, Saturday evening, October 10, for our fall outing. We will be enjoying a fun evening outdoors with dinner and a hayride. More details will be coming. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Boerman or Kathy Busscher.
Upcoming Elections: With the upcoming election approaching, please remember that the deadline to register to vote by mail or online is October 19. If anyone needs assistance in obtaining an absentee ballot, or if you have any questions about the upcoming election, you may contact Sheryl VandenHeuvel (1.616.834.7746).
