Terry Boerman:  Please keep Terry in your prayers as he battles pneumonia.  We pray that this would not be a setback in his receiving treatments to address his cancer.

Mark & Sharon DuBois Family:  We give thanks that Mark & Sharon’s nephew, Liam, had a successful surgery where they were able to put a patch on his heart to aid in blood flow.  The surgeon also had to replace the pulmonary valve, which means that Liam will need more heart surgeries in the future.  We pray for the Lord’s mercy and wisdom to be with the family as they care for Liam.

Winnie Machiela:  Please remember Winnie in your prayers as she was hospitalized at Spectrum-Zeeland, with hip pain.  We pray that the source of the pain will be determined and relieved.

Tim Meekhof:  We are thankful that Tim was able to receive shots in the hopes of relieving his chronic neck pain.  We pray he experiences relief soon.

Helaine Miedema:  Please keep Helaine in your prayers as she has been hospitalized with anxiety.  We are thankful for the care she is receiving and pray that she will be able to return home soon.

Shirley Nagelkirk:  We give thanks that Shirley was able to return home after a stay at Heritage Rehabilitation Center.  We continue to pray for Shirley as the mass on her kidney was determined to be cancer and inoperable.

Jim Staat, Sr.:  We give thanks that Jim’s brother, Nick, continues to make progress at Blodgett Hospital.  We pray that after this additional care, he will be able to return home soon.

Elaine Venema:  We give thanks that Elaine’s procedure went well & that she received good results.

The Executive Committee requests that our greetings to each other be verbal only to prevent the spread of illness this winter.  We will continue to have greeters verbally welcoming at the doors, and the Elders doing likewise at the exits following the services.  Please make an extra effort to be friendly to our guests during this time.

Pastor Scott Geurink will lead our Evening Worship Service.  Pastor Geurink is supported by Classis Zeeland as he serves the Hispanic community of the greater Holland area.  May we be encouraged in the hearing of the Gospel message in this day.

Please Note:  All receipts for reimbursements or invoices to be paid for 2019 must be turned in by Thursday, December 19.  Please place these items in the Treasurer’s mailbox.
