Bonnie Bergman:  Please remember Bonnie in your prayers as she will be having reconstructive foot surgery on Monday, February 3.  Following her surgery, Bonnie will be staying at a health care facility for several weeks to recover.  We pray that the surgery may go well and relieve Bonnie of the chronic pain.

Terry Boerman:  We give thanks that Terry was able to receive his 4th round of chemotherapy this past Wednesday.  We pray that this treatment may be effective, that the bouts with rapid heart rates would settle & not require more trips to Emergency Room.

Gary DeHaan:  We give thanks to God that Gary had a successful surgery to remove some cancerous cells from his cheek & was given an encouraging prognosis.

Nakisha DeJong:  We give thanks that Nakisha has returned home after spending the last week serving in Guatemala with ‘Casas por Christo’ for a mission trip.

Cheryl Kroll:  Cheryl’s double mastectomy surgery, scheduled for last week, was postponed.  We pray that it may be rescheduled soon.

Henry Meppelink:  We give thanks that Henry has been transferred to Heritage Rehabilitation Center (Room #8) in Zeeland, to continue in his recovery.

Shirley Nagelkirk:  We give thanks that after a recent scan, the cancerous mass on Shirley’s kidney has not grown and has not spread to other areas of her body.  We pray for wisdom as Pep & Shirley make decisions about her care.

Josh & Chelsea VandenBosch:  We join with Chelsea and her family in giving thanks to God for the wonderful results her father, Doug, received from his bone biopsy, revealing that his cancer numbers dropped by 80%, which is far greater than they expected.  We continue to pray for the effectiveness of these treatments for Doug.

Profession of Faith Class:  Pastor Shaun will be leading our Profession of Faith Class, that will be held during the Sunday School hour, beginning on Sunday, February 16.  If you are interested in attending, please let Pastor Shaun know by Wednesday, February 12, so he can have enough material available.

Brent & Val Leegwater and Family and the DeRoo Families would like to say “Thank You!  Thank You to our dear Church Family for all of your support in these last few months following the loss of Mom (Lola DeRoo) and then Dad (Berwin DeRoo).  Thank you for the kind, uplifting words expressed in cards, texts, and in person.  Thank you for the hugs, the food, the transportation help, and the cleaning that was done.  Thank you to all who came to the visitations, and to those who just showed up and sat with us in our grief and shock immediately following Dad’s death.  There really are no words to express how much it meant to us!  Thank you for the continuing support and prayers as we adjust to the shock of losing Dad and what life now looks like without either one of them.  We are so comforted to know we are held in the arms of Jesus, but also upheld in the prayers and support of church family.  We hold onto the precious promise, in Christ, that we will see them again!”

Dale & Helaine Miedema would like to “Thank our Church Family for all the deeds of kindness shown to us over the last six weeks.”
