FOCUS ON MISSIONS

Ascending Leaders (Rev. Mike & Gina Johnson) helps churches, disciples, and leaders, flourish through coaching churches on discipleship and vitality; teaching on discipleship in congregations, and resourcing churches and individuals with effective discipleship materials.  For more information, check the website www.ascendingleaders.org.

Al Blauwkamp:  Please be in prayer for Al as he has been transferred from Zeeland-Spectrum to Riley Grove and placed under Hospice care.  We pray for the Lord’s comfort for Al & Arlene in this time.

Gary & Connie DeHaan:  Please be in prayer for Gary as a recent fall resulted in him needing 6 staples to close a wound on his head.  We are thankful that Connie, after being readmitted to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon with a re-occurrence of pancreatitis, was discharged and is recovering at home.  We pray that they both may recover.

Caleb Lucas (10 year old son of Curt & Jamie):  After a series of tests, Caleb has been diagnosed with a mild bleeding disorder that should not affect his day-to-day activities.  He will continue to be monitored.  We are thankful that a definitive answer was given and that he has been given an encouraging prognosis.

Helaine Miedema:  Please pray for Helaine as she continues to receive weekly chemotherapy treatments and is experiencing difficult side effects.  We pray that these side effects would subside.

Bill Schreur, Tom Schreur, Matthew VanderPloeg:  Please keep Bill, Tom, and Matthew in your prayers as they serve at Eagle Crest Christian Camp in Sutton, Alaska.  They are scheduled to return home today.

Jasmine Vincent (17 year old daughter of Steve & Melissa):  Please remember Jasmine in your prayers as she experienced a concussion and continues to have residual side effects.  We pray that an upcoming appointment with a specialist will provide relief.

Council Member of Focus:

Deacon Scott Visser
