Terry Boerman:  Terry had a CT Scan last week as a follow-up of his rapid heartbeat in September.  This resulted in fluid being removed from the lung cavity on Monday.  Cancer cells were found in the fluid, so additional tests will be completed & a course of action determined.  Pray for direction, peace, & healing.

Henry Meppelink:  Please be in prayer for Henry as his consultation revealed that his aortic aneurism is leaking.  As further tests are done to determine surgical options, pray for clarity, peace, and direction.

Jim Staat Sr.:  Please keep Jim’s brother, Nick, in your prayers as he continues to experience complications after open heart surgery.  Nick has an infection and remains in Intensive Care.  We pray that the infection may be remedied and he would be able to make a full recovery.

Josh & Chelsea VandenBosch:  We give thanks to the Lord that Chelsea’s dad, Doug, has been approved for two clinical trial chemotherapies.  We pray these treatments would prove to be effective.

Nick & Elaine Venema:  We give thanks that the results of Elaine’s sister-in-law, Courtney’s tests revealed that the lesions on her liver are not cancerous.  We give thanks to the Lord for his mercy.

Steve & Melissa Vincent:  We rejoice with the Vincent family as Melissa’s dad, Vern, was able to come home after being hospitalized with blood clots.  We pray that Vern will be able to make a full recovery.

Rose Worley:  Please keep Rose in your prayers as she fell a week ago, resulting in a sore back, bumps and bruises, and a broken tooth.  We pray that she may heal from these injuries and be able to have her tooth repaired soon.

The Outreach Committee would like to remind the Congregation that we have ONE week remaining and there are still about 20 shoeboxes left to fill for the Samaritan’s Purse ‘Operation Christmas Child’ Program.  The goal for North Street is 100 boxes!  Please consider picking up another box.  If you would like to make a monetary donation to fill a box or to help with shipping costs, place donations in Jim Jr./Dana Staat’s church mailbox.  Filled Shoeboxes must be brought back to church by Sunday, November 17.  For gift suggestions and/or more information, please contact Dana Staat or visit the website www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.

Meals For Families:  Are you making a casserole/pot of soup/chicken/roast/etc. for your family?  Why not make a little extra for someone in our North Street family that could use encouragement.  Please put the food in a freezer container, date and label the contents including any cooking instructions, and put the container in the freezer in the church kitchen.  The meals/food will be distributed to individuals/couples/families as needed.  If you have any questions or if you would like to bring a meal on a specific day, please contact Linda Boerman.
