Our Christian Sympathies are extended to Tim & Ruth Meekhof, Dustin & Emillie Boersema and family, Dylan & Alicia Beld, and Matthew Meekhof. Ruth’s mother, Ada Rillema, went home to be with the Lord this past Wednesday afternoon, after experiencing a brain aneurism and then battling a lung infection. We are thankful that she was surrounded by family, prayer, Scripture, and song, as she entered into glory. Visitation is today from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Yntema Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13 at 11:00 AM at Beaverdam CRC.
Hermina Fransens would like to say “Thank You to everyone for the Christmas cards and the Poinsettia I received. Also, Thank You to the GEMS for coming to sing Christmas Carols.”

‘Cards For Christ’: Ladies – on the last Thursday of every month, there will be an opportunity for you to gather in fellowship at a designated host home. During this time of intentional, multi-generational fellowship, we will be able to share our time together with conversation and laughter, and also share our gifts of encouragement to others in the church family through the making of handwritten cards. Let’s show others the love of Christ through our time and words expressed through this lost art! Writing cards not your thing? No problem, come and fellowship anyways! Looking forward to seeing you at our first ‘Cards For Christ’ event at the home of Sue Arendsen (10353 Felch Street) on Thursday, January 30, from 7:00-8:30 PM. Please RSVP to Amanda Furniss if you plan to attend! (616.350.7857 or firstname.lastname@example.org)
